Weekly Produce Bid for 2024-2025 School Year

Bids posted each Wednesday during the school year

  1. The bid will be posted on the MMSD web site on every Wednesday by 8:00 am and must be returned to Dustin Lundt at dklundt@madison.k12.wi.us on the following Friday by 5:00 pm to be included in that week's bid.
  2. The time frame will be two weeks in advance. The distributor will be notified by the close of business on Monday if they are awarded the produce business.
  3. Distributors are encouraged provide all items on produce list, as there may be some last minute needs and if there is no bid on that item, the distributor cannot be awarded.
  4. Produce bid will be awarded on a line by line basis. The distributor with the lowest line item price will be awarded that item for the week.
  5. Distributors must be able to accommodate deliveries up to 5 days per week.
  6. Distributors must be able to secure a delivery window of 5:00 am — 5:30 am.
  7. Quoted prices must be held for the following weeks' time period.
  8. Quantities are subject to change. Projected usages are that, projected.
  9. Any distributor that is awarded the business and is unable to provide quantities committed will no longer be eligible to bid.
  10. All distributors must be approved by MMSD prior to having access to bid. This means the distributors must have an account set up through the district and must have their facility inspected for sanitation and cleanliness by our Quality Assurance Specialist to insure the facility meets our standards.
